28 A lying tongue hates those it hurts, and a flattering mouth works ruin.
28 A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.
28 A lying tongue hates its victims, and a flattering mouth works ruin.
28 Liars hate their victims; flatterers sabotage trust.
28 A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it, And a flattering mouth works ruin.
28 A lying tongue hates its victims, and flattering words cause ruin.
Matthew Henry's Commentary on Proverbs 26:28
Commentary on Proverbs 26:28
(Read Proverbs 26:28)
