3 and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;
3 His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh.
He will not judge by the sight of his eyes,
neither decide by the hearing of his ears;
3 He will delight in obeying the Lord . He will not judge by appearance nor make a decision based on hearsay.
3 Fear-of-God will be all his joy and delight. He won't judge by appearances, won't decide on the basis of hearsay.
