You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. (Isaiah 26:3)
Where else can we truly find peace of mind but by faith in Jesus Christ, Who has conquered death, sin, and the devil? All our anxieties arise from a lack of trusting God and seeking Him first and foremost in our lives.
As simple as this truth is, we find it difficult to live by faith weighed down by attachments and cares of this world. Here we have collected 10 Prayers for peace of mind to help you "cast your cares upon Him" who loves mankind and reigns as King of all.
"For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace." (Romans 8:6)
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)
Go to God in prayer whenever concerns or sorrows trouble you, and ask Him to give mercy and grace for peace of mind!
Lord of the nations,
God in whom we trust,
you alone are holy, good, wise,
and the source of every blessing.
In trouble and turmoil, be our peace.
In our hearts and minds
give us peace that surpasses understanding.
In our mouths put words of peace,
and make us peacemakers
that we may be called your children.
Let the truth of your Word govern and guide us
when we are inclined to be like Pontius Pilate
and say, “What is truth?”
When we are unsure of all things,
draw us to you, our faithful God,
steadfast in love, our rock, refuge and fortress. Amen.
Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. Psalm 146:3

O Lord God,
grant your peace to us,
for you have supplied us with all things—
the peace of rest,
the peace of the Sabbath which has no evening;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

O God, you are the bottomless well of peace,
the heavenly sea of love,
the fountain of blessings,
and the giver of affection,
and you send peace to those who receive it.
Open to us this day the sea of your love,
and water us with the flowing streams of your grace.
Make us children of quietness, and heirs of peace.
Enkindle the fire of your love in us;
plant holy reverence for you in us;
strengthen our weakness by your power;
bind us closely to you and to each other
in one firm bond of unity; for the sake of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Keep us in peace, O Christ our God,
under the protection of your holy cross;
save us from our enemies, visible and invisible,
that we may glorify you with thanksgiving,
with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and forever.
O Lord,
let Your tranquility dwell among us,
and let Your peace remain in our hearts.
May our voices proclaim Your truth,
and may Your Cross be the guardian of our souls.
Good God, gracious Father, creator of us all, have mercy on us.
O Jesus, Son of God and Son of Man have mercy on us.
True Spirit, moving over us, Lord and giver of life, have mercy on us.
Look at our world, broken by sin.
Look at our hearts, broken in grief.
Look at our minds, shaken in confusion.
Have mercy on us.
Forgive our short-sightedness and open our eyes.
Forgive our hate and empower us to love.
Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.
Have mercy on us.
Almighty and everlasting God, you are the fountain of all peace, spiritual and temporal. We humbly pray, in your great goodness, grant us that peace which the world cannot give, that we may ever live in your fear, obedient to your commandments, to the end that you may deliver us from all our enemies; through your dear Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Lord God, heavenly Father,
because of our many sins
we deserve no peace,
but in your mercy, spare us.
Stop or hinder those who plan evil.
Restrain all violence
and anything that would harm us.
Protect your people.
Correct the wayward.
Heal the hurting.
Grant us peace.

O Lord,
look on us in your mercy
and help us to choose the way of peace.
Rescue us from the captivity of our sin,
lift its oppression,
and lead us to dwell in your heavenly Jerusalem;
through Jesus Christ. Amen.

God most high and holy,
all things are in your hands.
Your holy Word invites us to trust in you
and to be fearless
even when the earth gives way.
When the mountains fall into the sea,
when the waters roar and foam,
when nations are in an uproar,
and even in the valley of the shadow of death.
With your unlimited power,
with your boundless presence,
with your knowledge of all things,
fill our hearts with your peace that surpasses understanding.
Fill us with faith in you,
with desires to serve our neighbors in love,
and to be strong and take heart
as we wait for you to work your good purpose
for the good of those who love you;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
