How Christmas Proves God Speaks to Us Today

One of my favorite parts of the Christmas story is when the angel Gabriel came to Joseph to deliver a message from God. Then, the Bible says in Matthew that the angel of the Lord came to Mary. And now, what's incredible about both of those stories is, number one, that God chose to go speak to humans.

I mean, God is holy, God is separate, God is set apart, and He chose to speak to humans. And we see God doing that throughout Scripture, all the way back to Genesis when God was speaking to Adam. God has always been a speaking God.

It's one of the most wonderful things that's a part of Him. But the angel of the Lord spoke to Mary. Is that Jesus, the Christophany of Jesus? I don't know.

But God still speaks to us today through His Word.
