Sometimes, I forget to make the most of this gift I have been given as a child of God. I try to handle my struggles, challenges, concerns, and needs, as though I don’t have a Heavenly Father who is willing — no, who longs — to hold my hand. To guide me. Provide for me. Carry the weight of my burdens. And most of all, God wants me to crawl into His lap and share my heart with Him. It’s this time together that He cherishes.
We don’t need to face this life on our own. In fact, God doesn’t want us to do that. So if you also need this reminder of just how powerful and important prayer is, I have compiled a list of prayer quotes and Bible verses that will inspire you to stay in constant communication with your Heavenly Father. This will give you the boost of encouragement and motivation you need to prioritize an ongoing conversation with Christ.
Because let’s face it: This life is too much for us to face on our own. Thank God we don’t have to!
