As Christians, we recognize God as our Father because He created humanity. Our Father is always looking for ways to bless us. His word declares that goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives. Even after the fall of man, God had a plan to bless us and put us in the right standing with Him, shown by Genesis 3:15 where the serpent is beneath the savior's head as he bruises its head .
Knowing what the word of God says concerning His blessings is important. This builds our faith and helps us to run on when we face adversity. We know that we are victors through Christ Jesus and that we have advocates and the assistance of the Holy Ghost.

When two Christians pray, God tells us that we have more power when two of us pray. Look at Matthew 18:18-20. Remind God of His word when you pray.
We can also pray for others. When we ask God for His spirit, we have even more power for effective prayer. Before praying for anyone, asking for forgiveness of sins is always a good idea. If you do not know if they are a Christian, ask them. If they are not Christian and you feel comfortable doing so, witness to them about Jesus. You can then pray for them.
1. Father, your word declares that whatever we shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever we shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. You also said if two of us shall agree on earth touching anything, it shall be done. We know that you are in the midst of us because your word declares, “wherever two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst” (Matthew 18:19-20). We agree together in faith, knowing that what we ask is already done, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
2. Father, we come to you today praying for health and healing. You said in your word that I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers. Your word declares if any sick is among you, call for the elders of the church, pray over them and anoint them with oil. The prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up. If they have committed sins, they will be forgiven. We know the prayers of a righteous person accomplish much in Jesus’ name. Amen.
3. Lord, we lift up our finances to you. We are tithers, and we take you at your word. Malachi 3:10-12 says, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house and prove me now herewith says the Lord of hosts if I will not open you open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you shall not have room enough to receive.” You also told us that you would rebuke the devourer for our sakes. He will not be able to destroy the fruits of our ground, neither shall our vine cast her fruit before the time in the field said the Lord of hosts and all nations will call us blessed and we will be a delightsome land said the Lord of hosts.”
4. Lord, we come to you today lifting up the President, Congress, Senate, and other world leaders. We pray for wisdom and guidance for them to lead our country in these last and evil days. We also pray for our local leaders, mayors, police, and fire department heads that they will be impactful in keeping down crime and confusion. I pray for kings and all those in authority that they may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty in Jesus’ name. Amen.
5. We plead the blood of Jesus over every school, every student, every teacher, every principal, and everyone employed by schools or those who conduct businesses with the school. Satan shall not take any ground in our schools. We plead the blood of Jesus over our schools, and we ask daily that the angels will be released to protect the children, parents, staff, and visitors. We know you will go before them daily and straighten crooked places. We pray for beefed-up school security and common sense when it comes to protecting our children. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
