Most people likely believe that miracles only occur in the Bible. Yes, there was the parting of the Red Sea, Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, healing a lame and blind man and many others. However, miracles no longer happen in our society today, right? That, of course, is conventional thinking.
However, the Bible says otherwise. In the New Testament, in Matthew, Jesus mentions how our faith is the determining factor when it comes to miracles. He told a crowd that nothing would be impossible if we had faith as small as a mustard seed. We could even tell a mountain to do something, and it would do it.
In a clip posted on YouTube, one young man says that he was praying for sick people when he encountered an atheist. The atheist, the young man recalls, was extremely angry.
At one point during their discussion, he told the atheist that if Christ were to heal his leg and fix his torn ACL, he had to give his life to Jesus Christ. So, the young man proceeded to pray over the man, asking Jesus to fix his ACL. The upset atheist with the knee injury was scheduled for surgery the next day.
The following morning, the man was able to walk downstairs even though he had suffered a torn ACL. He headed to the doctor’s office, where another scan was performed before surgery. What they discover is miraculous. His ACL has been wholly reattached, completely baffling everyone at the medical facility. They have “no idea what happened.”
The clip ends with the young man stating that the atheist eventually accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
Matthew 17:20: “And he says to them, ‘Because of your little faith: for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Be moved from this place to that; and it will be moved; and nothing will be impossible to you.”
