Violinist Performs 'King of Kings' By Hillsong Worship

Published Aug 08, 2023

The darkness in our world has been incredibly apparent lately. It seems no matter where we turn, we find heartache and despair. But we can thank God for the gift of worship. Christian music has often been a beacon of light, and this video shines through the darkness when a violinist performs ‘King Of Kings’ by Hillsong Worship. It is the perfect song to remind us God is Lord over all. There may be times when all hope seems lost, but during these trying times, we can trust God’s plan for this world and for each of us.

Daniel Jang is a Taiwanese-American with New Jersey roots. His talent with the violin has gained 1.5 million fans because of his incredible ability to make the violin sin. Today’s performance is no different. His rendition of King of Kings gives the song a whole new feel, and it is absolutely incredible. It’s as if the words are coming from every note he hits on the violin.

Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit, three in one
God of glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of Kings

I just love hearing this song stripped down and basic. You can see and hear the passion Daniel has for the Lord. This song is a perfect way to express our love and astonishment of our heavenly father who loves us so much. We are blessed to have a King who is above all kings who bends his heart towards the earth and loves us no matter who we are, nor does he care about our imperfections. Even in Christ’s suffering, God already had plans to redeem his creation and all of his children.

This violin rendition truly makes every single note of this precious worship song more powerful. Praise God for blessing this young man with the ability to make beautiful music that drawers us deeper into God’s presence.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand,” (Isaiah 41:10.).
