Laura Story Captivates with Beautiful 'Come Unto Jesus' Acoustic Performance from CCM Magazine on GodTube.

The world is hectic, chaotic and wholly out of control. At times, it seems that everything is entirely upside down and backward. Human beings and sin have done a number on society, destroying, defacing and marring nearly everything.

While many in the world may be hurting, struggling and searching far and wide for a solution, there is an answer. For those who are hurting, weary and in need of comfort and rest, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, offers that freely. Anyone struggling with a burden or something weighing them down, come and place them at His feet. For individuals who want a moment to themselves and feel like they are being pulled in every direction, He offers a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Laura imparts this message of Christ’s ability to ease all pains, worries and burdens with her beautiful tune, “Come unto Jesus.” With this stunning performance, Laura demonstrates that she is an immensely talented musician using her gifts to spread Christ’s message and love.

Much like Laura’s voice, the song’s lyrics about Christ’s love, grace and faithfulness are beautiful and moving.

“Come unto Jesus, come unto Jesus
Lay down your burdens; He is enough
Come unto Jesus, rest in His love”

This is a message that many in the world need to hear and know. Many individuals in society today feel as if they have nowhere to turn. They see their current predicament and see no hope or way out. But Christ is still in the business of performing miracles. He can inject life into a situation that appears hopeless and dead. He can do exceedingly more than we can imagine. As the chorus mentions, He is enough!

Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all who are troubled and weighted down with care, and I will give you rest.”
