Danny Gokey Official Video for 'wannabe' Celebrates God's Love and Faithfulness from danny-gokey on GodTube.

Humans are, by nature, imperfect and fallen beings. We are all sinners who have willingly turned away from God and desperately need His forgiveness, mercy, and grace. No one would have a chance without God's love and forgiveness. But because He does love us that much, He sent his one and only Son, who willingly endured a painful, agonizing, and humiliating death on our behalf. He made a way so that we could be forgiven and experience everlasting life with Him. That’s the work and sacrifice of a powerful, merciful, and loving God.

In his latest song, former American Idol contestant Danny Gokey sings about God’s love, goodness, mercy, and faithfulness. It’s an uplifting and upbeat song that reminds us of the loving God that we serve. The catchy, poppy melody and beautiful lyrics will be stuck in your head.

The tune’s opening verse perfectly captures God’s endless love and faithfulness.

“You got that kinda love that don’t go unnoticed

You got arms open wide as an ocean

You’re always giving endless second chances

You’re faithful, and You never leave me stranded.”

Praise God for His love, mercy, and grace! What would we do, and where would we be without it? Without question, we would be much worse off, living in our sin and shame with no hope in sight.

As Danny’s song mentions, God is the perfect example of love, mercy, and grace. We should all strive to be more like Him, but being human, we will inevitably fail. But He is a god of endless second chances, willing to forgive those who confess their sins and turn from their ways.

Matthew 5:16 “Even so let your light be shining before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
