What Is the Key to Living a Meaningful Life?

Imagine God offered you anything you wanted—money, power, health. What would you choose? This actually happened to Solomon, the son of King David, in the Bible. Surprisingly, Solomon asked for wisdom, the ability to apply knowledge beneficially in our lives. God granted his request, leading Solomon to great success and fulfillment.

Solomon later wrote Ecclesiastes, starting with "Everything is meaningless." At first, this seems discouraging, but Solomon's point is deeper. He uses the phrase "under the sun" to emphasize that without an eternal perspective, life can feel pointless. He's teaching us that true meaning comes from looking beyond earthly concerns.

Ecclesiastes reminds us that hope and purpose aren't found in money, power, or people but in a relationship with God. When we focus on loving God and others, our lives gain profound meaning. So, if life feels meaningless, shift your focus to the eternal and find true purpose.
