How to Keep Jesus at the Center of Your Holiday Season

Well, tis the season to be jolly. We are entering the most beautiful time of year: Christmastime. Pretty soon, I'm going to be replacing all these pumpkins and putting up my Christmas tree right here.

I'm setting up my nativity scene soon and cannot wait to celebrate the birth of our Savior. I do know that we've also had a lot going on the last few weeks, and it might be heavy on your heart with everything that's happened with the politics, and maybe you'll see the legalism that's surrounding social media as if you should or shouldn't celebrate Christmas. Let me tell you, when we posture our hearts on Jesus and the true meaning of this season, James 1-5 tells us that God will give us wisdom and discernment.

Seek his wisdom and discernment. As you read Luke 2 and consider how you fit into that story and how Jesus was born for you to have eternal life, I hope that it brings you peace and comfort and allows you to exude joy this Christmas.
