How Cutting Back on Social Media Can Restore Your Peace

How is social media treating you today? Have you picked up your Bible or been doing the mindless scroll? I say this as a note to myself because I find it so easy to get sucked into a habit of just picking up my phone in the morning or picking it up throughout the day and just scrolling through social media that I haven't even hardly touched base with God. The problem with this is, is there's so much in our world today that we can fill our hearts and minds with that if we aren't embedding it with the truth and placing our sights on what is good, pure, noble, and right, as Philippians 4:8 says, we can easily get sucked into anxiety or depression or even bitterness as we infiltrate our heart with what the world says rather than what God tells us. If you need to, step back, take a break, and dig into God's word.
