Micah 6:6, 8

With what shall I come to the LORD and bow myself before the God on high? Shall I come to Him with burnt offerings, with yearling calves? … He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

One of God’s great purposes for you is to live out His desire to help those who are helpless!

God wants you to be concerned, not only with evangelism, but also with justice, and kindness. James tells us that “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world” (James 1:27).

God is the great Helper and if you are growing to be more and more like Him, you will naturally grow in your love to help people also. Don’t try to be just like someone else. Rather, think about how God has made you and consider how you can help people with your unique personality and gifts.

We must hold God’s great purposes for us in balance and constantly ask His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us what God is doing through us in this world. He’ll show you as you walk humbly with Him.
