Read Philippians 2:5-9
[Jesus],although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. (vv. 6-8)
God is involved in our world!
Sometimes we can get frustrated about what is happening in our lives and we can be tempted to think that God is just watching what happens in the world, that He is not really involved in our lives. But the birth of Jesus proves that God does care about this world. He cares about you and your life.
God’s plan is often different from your desires, but even when that is the case, God cares deeply about you. He wants to walk with you through life, encouraging you and strengthening you as you face hard times, and bringing you joy through His many blessings in your life.
God wants you to know that He pays attention to you when you pray, when you pursue Him, and even when you ignore Him! God is constantly working in your life to draw you closer to Him, to teach you to depend on Him more, and to cause you to grow spiritually.
