Living every moment to God’s glory

October 3, 2011

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:15-16

Benjamin Franklin once wrote, “Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that’s the stuff life is made of.”

But every now and then I’ll hear someone say, “Well, I’m just killing time.” Well, if you’re killing time, then you’re dying by degrees because your life is measured in time! If you don’t believe me, take a walk through a cemetery and you’ll see that on every headstone there’s a date of birth and a date of death. That’s your life!

And the reality is that before you were even conceived, God knew your birth date as well as your death date. You were planned and prepared in your mother’s womb by God Himself. He gave you the breath of life and He will one day take that breath of life away.

God has given us the gift of time on this earth. And He wants you and me to make the most of every moment He’s given us. So when you wake up in the morning and take in that first conscious breath of a fresh new day, thank God for the opportunity that He’s given you to live for His glory. And throughout your day, cherish every single moment and live it to the glory of God.

THANK GOD FOR THE TIME HE’S GIVEN YOU ON EARTH AND LIVE EVERY MOMENT FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!

Leave a legacy for tomorrow by living one today!

Dear Friend,

In your brief time here on earth, God wants you to make an impact that lasts far beyond your years.  So how can you be sure that the legacy you leave will be strong for generations to come?

In my new 6-message CD series called Legacy, I’ll show you how your legacy for Christ can be cherished long after you’re gone. You’ll find out how a strong, committed relationship with God today can inspire those who come after you. And, you’ll discover how fulfilling your calling as a godly parent will make a lasting impact on your children.

When you live your life for Christ today, you can be sure you’ll leave a powerful legacy of faith for tomorrow!

I want to send you Legacy to thank you for your online donation to PowerPoint today. It’s my prayer that this series will both encourage and equip you to live your legacy now!

And thank you for your gift to reach more people with the hope of Christ. I’m grateful!

Jack Graham
