Remember Your Favorite Meal
By David Chadwick
If you are having a bad day today, there are some things you can do to make it better.
What might one of those things be? Remember your favorite meal. Think about whether you could make it. Or perhaps you could buy it. Is it in your mind? Got it?
Okay, now find a way today to go partake of this wonderful delicacy. Either you fix it or buy it. It doesn’t matter. Just have it in your mind that you’ll have it this evening.
Now spend the rest of your day looking forward to having this meal. Try to imagine every succulent morsel you’ll ingest. Think about every forkful of food you will eat.
I bet each time you remember this food your day will go better. In fact, I think your bad day will increasingly get better and better.
You may even find yourself having a good day.
Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
Live in-tune with the heartbeat of God!
God might have blessed all Christians with grace, but sin still affects our lives.
It steals our happiness and keeps us from experiencing fullness and meaning that Jesus intended us to enjoy.
We want you to live a righteous, fulfilling life that’s aligned with the heartbeat of God—so you don’t have to live another moment in the miserable pitfalls of sin. That’s why we want to send you David Chadwick’s CD series, Heart Beats, as our thanks for your gift below to reach others with the hope of Jesus Christ.
This insightful series offers biblical perspectives on subjects such as...
- Worthlessness & Shame
- Disappointment
- Loneliness
- Parenting
- And more!
