Don’t Look at What You’ve Lost
By David Chadwick

Someone once said that life is loss. Everyone who lives will go through loss.

My dad knew this truth. That’s why he gave me this nugget of wisdom: “Son, don’t ever look at what you’ve lost. Always look at what you have left.”

Dad knew that you are a failure only if you never try again. And even the most charred foundation has something left upon which to build again.

God knows the future he has for you. Even in the worst situations, God has a future and a hope (Proverbs 23:18).

Take what’s left after your loss. And start building again.

It’s wise advice that every dad should pass on to his kids.

It will help your kids have hope when they experience loss in life.
