Do You Have a True Friend?

God created us to have friendships with one another. Proverbs 18:24 says, “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother” (ESV).
We all need that friend who sticks closer than a brother or sister. It’s someone who is glued to us. You can always depend on him or her. It’s someone who will never let us down.
There is no competition between the two of you. You want the other to succeed. You even want his or her children to be successful. It’s a joy to see them all succeed.
Do you have this kind of friend? Is there someone in your life who is so close to you, he or she sticks to you like glue?
Companions come and go. They may even come to ruin.
But a true friend lasts forever.
And nothing can ever separate you from one another.
Live in-tune with the heartbeat of God!
God might have blessed all Christians with grace, but sin still affects our lives.
