A Friend Builds You Up
By David Chadwick
How do you know you have a true friend, someone who will be a friend forever?
It’s a person who gives you constant verbal encouragement. It’s someone who builds you up and doesn’t tear you down. It’s someone who can sense if you’re down, then will use words to give you life, not death.
There is great power in your words. Indeed, one of the proverbs in the Bible says there is life and death in the tongue. Words can either build up or tear down.
That’s why we all need friends who will use words to help us become stronger. We need friends who will encourage us – especially in our times of need.
Do you have a friend who constantly gives you encouragement with your words? If so, count yourself very fortunate.
There’s nothing more wonderful in life than to have a true friend forever, one who constantly encourages you.
If you have one today, make sure you thank God… and your friend… for their special presence in your life.
Live in-tune with the heartbeat of God!
God might have blessed all Christians with grace, but sin still affects our lives.
It steals our happiness and keeps us from experiencing fullness and meaning that Jesus intended us to enjoy.
We want you to live a righteous, fulfilling life that’s aligned with the heartbeat of God—so you don’t have to live another moment in the miserable pitfalls of sin. That’s why we want to send you David Chadwick’s CD series, Heart Beats, as our thanks for your gift below to reach others with the hope of Jesus Christ.
This insightful series offers biblical perspectives on subjects such as...
- Worthlessness & Shame
