Hear and Believe
Scripture:“I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” (John 5:24).
Play: Give each of your kids an unexpected small gift, such as a coin, treat or new crayons.
Talk: Jesus gives gifts, but not the same kind that parents or friends give us. In John 5:24, He said that He would give an extra-special gift to those who listen to what He says and believe in God. The special gift Jesus promised us is forgiveness and life with Him. Because Jesus gives us the gift of forgiveness, how can we share that gift with others?
Pray: Thank God for the wonderful gift of life forever with Him.
