Day 67
PURITY
Everyone who has
this hope in him purifies himself,
just as he is pure.
1 John 3:3
FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, I hear your cry for perfection. I know you long to feel pure—to keep your "house clean"—yet you struggle with daily failures. Rest assured, I see your desire, and I know your heart. Perfect performance does not make you pure, but the blood I shed for you. It is our relationship that matters—a Father and His child. Accept My purity. It is a gift to you.
A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Like the finest gold, like a spotless lamb, You are pure, Lord. And though sin has blemished my heart, You have draped me in a robe of Your purity. Thank You for creating in me a clean and pure heart, Lord. I want You to shine through me.
SIMPLE TRUTH
Failure is sometimes God's way of keeping us humble.
