If You Didn’t Quit Yesterday, Don’t Quit Today

Not long ago, I went back to New York City where I grew up and couldn’t believe how much my old neighborhood had changed. What it made me think about was how my neighborhood is a picture of our lives.
Years from now, you will give testimony about the issues you overcame and it will seem so astonishing. You’ll say, “Can you believe how much I have changed?” I hope so, because I can see you walking in a new realm of power. So, believe it!
God has over a millions ways to change your circumstances before today is over. So instead of asking God to remove you from your situation, ask Him to show you what you need to comprehend. As a result of God’s wisdom, you may never experience that situation again. Remember, He’s responsible for creating you. So He is well aware of what you can handle. Therefore, if you were not able to hold up under the test, the Father would not have allowed it to come.
These trials are temporary. They have an expiration date. Sometimes it seems like the more you push, the worse things become. However, you must keep going! God is close even when your destiny seems far away. So as the folks from my old neighborhood used to say, “If you didn’t quit yesterday, don’t quit today”! Finish the process and enjoy the life that was hid for you with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3).
