“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV)

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

We all make mistakes we are not proud of. Our bad decisions can sometimes cause the thought of living without regret feel impossible. However, we know through the grace of God, and the love of Christ, all things are possible. When we accept Christ into our lives, we may physically look the same, but our hearts are made new. Our hopes, dreams and desires start to align with God’s will and transform us from the inside out.

We are no longer known for our pasts, but for the new forgiven life Christ has given us. Our past mistakes now serve as a sign of God’s great love for us and motivation to live for Him. I encourage you today to trade your regret, for redemption, and live the new life that is yours in Jesus Christ.

PRAY

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the new life You offer. I pray to You  for the strength to keep pressing forward in Your love and grace. In Jesus Christ Name, I pray, Amen.

REFLECT

How has Jesus Christ redeemed your past mistakes?
