God’s Sufficient Grace – Beloved Women – March 31, 2020
READ: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV)
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT: Have you ever had something that was so painful in your life that you would pray and ask God to remove it, but it just wouldn't go away. It seemed the more you prayed about it the worse it would become. Sometimes God will take us through the wilderness experience to see if we will trust him. Everything that we go through and experience is a part of God’s great purpose and plan for our life.
As painful as thorns can be, yet the most beautiful things are produced because of them. Roses are one of the most beautiful flowers in the world with such a lasting fragrance and yet, it grows within thorns. Be encouraged in knowing that no matter your thorn that God is with you and they are only temporary. Go ahead and bloom!
PRAY: Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that my perspective would change so that I can see how You see. For our thoughts are not Your thoughts and our ways are not Your ways. Help us to trust You in all circumstances. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray. Amen.
