You Are Qualified – Beloved Women – December 20, 2023
READ: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT: I cried in my car with feelings of anger and disappointment with God. After going through yet another grueling interview process and getting to the final round, I did not get the job. I was devastated, confused, and questioning my purpose and identity. I knew I was qualified and would be an incredible asset to the organization. However, God said no. Why would God repeatedly put me through multiple rounds of rejection? I was doing my part, but another dead end. These are questions I cried out to God.
You may be going through a season where you are questioning your worth, assignment, or calling. Feeling beat down from rejection? Cry out to the Lord, meditate on God’s word, and do not give up! Let me reassure you: You are qualified! You have what it takes, and God has given you unique gifts and graces designed for a specific purpose. God wants what is BEST for you! If an opportunity did not manifest, it was not part of God’s beautiful plan for your life.
While the enemy may attempt to steal your joy with feelings of doubt, inadequacy, or depression, be encouraged that you are more than enough!
PRAY: Dear God, thank you for calling and choosing me for a unique God-given assignment. Thank you for qualifying and equipping me for each new opportunity that You present before me. When I face rejection from people or the world, strengthen me when I am disappointed and remind me that You have not forgotten about me. My worth and identity is solely found in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
