Heaven Will Be Full of Beautiful Faces – Beloved Women – August 28, 2020
READ: “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.” (Revelations 7:9 ESV)
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT: My ministry takes me to many countries to share the Gospel with orphans and women. I love looking out across the faces in the crowd. Their features stand out and declare the work of God’s hands. I find true beauty in their eyes as they share their faith with me. I love to photograph them up close so I can remember each face sculpted by the Master Artist. He makes each of us unique and special. When we find Christ, He marks us as His own.
I think my experiences make Revelations 7:9 stand out for me. When I close my eyes, I see the faces of those I met as part of the great multitude around the altar of God. I remember church services in faraway lands, where we sang in English while the locals sang in their languages. A chorus of Hallelujahs rising up to the throne room of Heaven. I believe I glimpse Heaven in those precious moments. We will get to spend eternity as part of this awesome vision created by John. I can’t wait.
PRAY: My Heavenly Father, Thank You for loving me enough to want to spend eternity with me. I am awed by the thought of worshipping You as part of the great multitude. Please forgive me for the times when I take Heaven for granted. Please give me the desire to share my faith with others so they can join us. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
