Birth of Robert G. Burns. He became a missionary under the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism in Columbia in 1942, but had to return home two years later because of medical problems. After a pastorate in St. Louis, he went to the headquarters for the mission where he ministered in the publishing department for thirty years. He was not only responsible for the official publication, The Message, but also for writing and printing all their promotional literature. He also served the Radio Bible Class in its early years.
