Jean Jacques Olier was born at Paris, France. In 1641 he founded the order of Sulpicians and his church and seminary were widely imitated. The members of the order devote themselves to directing seminaries.
Albrecht Alt (1883 to 1956)

Albrecht Alt was born in Stueback, Bavaria (Germany). He became a notable Old Testament scholar in the German Lutheran church, teaching at the universities of Greifswald, Basel, Halle and Leipzig. His Biblical Hebraica was the standard critical text of the Hebrew Old Testament for many years.
