Gottfried Thomasius (1802 to 1875)
Kenosis--of Course!
Birth of Gottfried Thomasius, who became a notable Lutheran theologian, teaching at the University of Erlangen. There he developed a Christology around the Greek word "kenosis" (emptying) which Paul uses to refer to Christ's incarnation in Philippians 2:7. His most important published word was Christi Person and Werk.
