10 In spite of all this, her unfaithful sister Judah did not return to me with all her heart, but only in pretense," declares the Lord.
10 And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly,
10 Yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to me with her whole heart, but in pretense, declares the Lord."
10 And not once in all this did flighty sister Judah even give me a nod, although she made a show of it from time to time." God's Decree.
10 And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned to Me with her whole heart, but in pretense," says the Lord.
10 But despite all this, her faithless sister Judah has never sincerely returned to me. She has only pretended to be sorry. I, the Lord, have spoken!"

Commentary on Jeremiah 3:6-11
(Read Jeremiah 3:6-11)
If we mark the crimes of those who break off from a religious profession, and the consequences, we see abundant reason to shun evil ways. It is dreadful to be proved more criminal than those who have actually perished in their sins; yet it will be small comfort in everlasting punishment, for them to know that others were viler than they.
