8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death- even death on a cross!
8 And being found in fashion
8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
8 Having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn't claim special privileges. Instead, he lived a selfless, obedient life and then died a selfless, obedient death - and the worst kind of death at that: a crucifixion.

11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Notice the two natures of Christ; his Divine nature, and human nature. Who being in the form of God, partaking the Divine nature, as the eternal and only-begotten Son of God, John 5:23. Here we see such motives to self-denying love as nothing else can supply. Do we thus love and obey the Son of God?
