1211 I lift up my eyes to the mountains- where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord watches over you- the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life; 8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
1211 A Song of the Ascents. I lift up mine eyes unto the hills, Whence doth my help come? 2 My help 'is' from Jehovah, maker of heaven and earth, 3 He suffereth not thy foot to be moved, Thy preserver slumbereth not. 4 Lo, He slumbereth not, nor sleepeth, He who is preserving Israel. 5 Jehovah 'is' thy preserver, Jehovah 'is' thy shade on thy right hand, 6 By day the sun doth not smite thee, Nor the moon by night. 7 Jehovah preserveth thee from all evil, He doth preserve thy soul. 8 Jehovah preserveth thy going out and thy coming in, From henceforth even unto the age!

The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. 6 The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. 7 The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. 8 The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
