13 He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
13 He waters the mountains from his upper chambers; the land is satisfied by the fruit of his work.
13 From your lofty abode you water the mountains; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your work.
13 You water the mountains from your heavenly cisterns; earth is supplied with plenty of water.
13 He waters the hills from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works.
13 You send rain on the mountains from your heavenly home, and you fill the earth with the fruit of your labor.
Matthew Henry's Commentary on Psalm 104:13
Commentary on Psalm 104:10-18
(Read Psalm 104:10-18)
When we reflect upon the provision made for all creatures, we should also notice the natural worship they render to God. Yet man, forgetful ungrateful man, enjoys the largest measure of his Creator's kindness. the earth, varying in different lands. Nor let us forget spiritual blessings; the fruitfulness of the church through grace, the bread of everlasting life, the cup of salvation, and the oil of gladness. Does God provide for the inferior creatures, and will he not be a refuge to his people?
