Psalm 95

A Song of Praise and Worship

951 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come [1] before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. 3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. 5 The sea [2] is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, [3] and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. 10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: 11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Psalm 95

A Song of Praise and Worship

951 Oh come, let’s sing to Yahweh.
Let’s shout aloud to the rock of our salvation! 2 Let’s come before his presence with thanksgiving.
Let’s extol him with songs! 3 For Yahweh is a great God,
a great King above all gods. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth.
The heights of the mountains are also his. 5 The sea is his, and he made it.
His hands formed the dry land. 6 Oh come, let’s worship and bow down.
Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker,

7 for he is our God.
We are the people of his pasture,
and the sheep in his care.
Today, oh that you would hear his voice! 8 Don’t harden your heart, as at Meribah,
as in the day of Massah in the wilderness, 9 when your fathers tempted me,
tested me, and saw my work. 10 Forty long years I was grieved with that generation,
and said, “It is a people that errs in their heart.
They have not known my ways.” 11 Therefore I swore in my wrath,
“They won’t enter into my rest.”

Psalm 95

A Song of Praise and Worship

951 Come, let us sing aloud to Jehovah, let us shout for joy to the rock of our salvation; 2 Let us come before his face with thanksgiving; let us shout aloud unto him with psalms. 3 For Jehovah is a great God, and a great king above all gods. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also: 5 The sea is his, and he made it, and his hands formed the dry [land]. 6 Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before Jehovah our Maker.

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. To-day if ye hear his voice, 8 Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, as [in] the day of Massah, in the wilderness; 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. 10 Forty years was I grieved with the generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways; 11 So that I swore in mine anger, that they should not enter into my rest.
