What does the Bible say about Happiness? - Joyful Scriptures
The Bible tells us "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice" in Philippians 4:4. We are repeatedly encouraged to rejoice in the Lord throughout the Word of God, to joyfully give thanks for the blessing of God's grace and mercy. Scripture reminds us that true happiness comes from our faith and love for God, saying "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" in Psalm 37:4. The happiness of this world is fleetly and superficial compared to the joy of everlasting life by faith in Jesus Christ. May these Bible verses remind you of the grand spiritual happiness in seeking the Kingdom of God.
