1902 Oscar Cullmann was born in Strasbourg, Switzerland. He was an early advocate of ecumenism between Christian denominations. He authored many books on such key topics as Peter's life, baptism in the early church, resurrection, and Christology. He held to the gospel account of the incarnation, death and resurrection of Christ.
