7 My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness.
7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness
7 for my mouth will utter truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
7 My mouth chews and savors and relishes truth - I can't stand the taste of evil!
7 For my mouth will speak truth; Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
7 for I speak the truth and detest every kind of deception.
28 The heart of the righteous weighs its answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes evil.
28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
28 The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.
28 Prayerful answers come from God-loyal people; the wicked are sewers of abuse.
28 The heart of the righteous studies how to answer, But the mouth of the wicked pours forth evil.
28 The heart of the godly thinks carefully before speaking; the mouth of the wicked overflows with evil words.
(Read Proverbs 15:28)
A good man is proved to be a wise man by this; he governs his tongue well.
2 for their hearts plot violence, and their lips talk about making trouble.
2 For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.
2 for their hearts devise violence, and their lips talk of trouble.
2 All they think about is causing a disturbance; all they talk about is making trouble.
2 For their heart devises violence, And their lips talk of troublemaking.
2 For their hearts plot violence, and their words always stir up trouble.

Envy not sinners. And let not a desire ever come into thy mind, Oh that I could shake off restraints!

Commentary on Proverbs 8:1-11
(Read Proverbs 8:1-11)
The will of God is made known by the works of creation, and by the consciences of men, but more clearly by Moses and the prophets. The chief difficulty is to get men to attend to instruction. Yet attention to the words of Christ, will guide the most ignorant into saving knowledge of the truth. Where there is an understanding heart, and willingness to receive the truth in love, wisdom is valued above silver and gold.
